In addition to being able to add students as members of a class, teachers can also allow students to join their class by distributing a Join Code. Each class page has a unique Join Code that teachers can write on the board or distribute to students. Joining the class is as simple as entering the Join Code.
To locate your class Join Code, you will log in to your site and click on your class tile. From here go to Members.
What To Do
- Click on the down arrow next to Manage Classes.
- Select the class Section.
- The Join Code will be listed above MEMBERS JOIN CODE in the upper right. You can provide this code to your students so they can sign up and become a member of your class.
- To reset the Join Code, you can click on the Reset button.
Note: You may want to reset the Join Code right before a new semester starts so a new batch of students can join your new class. Once the Join Code is reset the old code will expire.
