When creating a class, each class will contain a Manage Class and a Sections area.
The Manage Class area is like a teacher's personal class portfolio. It contains all of the teacher's private class resources, lesson plans, Gradebook settings and class settings information.
Sections represent different groups or periods of students a teacher may see during the school day. A teacher may instruct 5 different groups of students in a day between periods 1-5 for Algebra. Hence the teacher should have one Manage Class area for Algebra and 5 sections of Algebra each with a different set of students as members.
Lessons, feed posts, calendar events, and resources can be delegated from the Manage Class area to all or individual sections of the class.
