Editing Gradebook Entries

From time to time you may need to edit a student's grade on a particular assignment, give extra points, override a final overall grade or a grading period grade.

Where To Go

To edit your gradebook entries, you will log into your site and click on the class tile. Click Gradebook.

What To Do

  1. Click on the title of the class.
  2. Select a class section.
  3. The gradebook for that class section will display.
  4. Click on any number grade listed next to the student under any assignment, grading period or overall grade and enter a new grade.
    Note:  You can give a higher grade than the maximum points specified for an assignment, grading period or overall grade.
  5. Click Save.
  6. To excuse an assignment, a grading period or an overall grade, you can click on the number grade and select Excuse. To unexcuse just click on the number grade again and select Unexcuse.
